I’ve been obsessing over this album since I first heard it via the iTunes stream.

It’s so refreshing & fun.

I love it.

BTW

The art zine that I had been working on throughout the beginning of the year isn’t dead. It has been complete for a very long time. I’ve just been reassessing how it should be distributed.

It will be available as a free or pay-what-you-want .PDF package with a few other goodies soon thru Gumroad. I believe that this is the best way of going about getting it to as many people as possible.

Physical copies will still happen as well, but will be very limited. Printing a a large full color zine at home is very time consuming and expensive. This has definitely been a big learning experience for me.

I haven’t been using Tumblr much lately, but that doesn’t mean that I no longer like it.

It just tends to drop off of my radar from time to time.

The Yahoo! acquisition of Tumblr isn’t going to cause drastic changes here anytime soon. Marissa Meyers is smart, and knows that she cannot fuck this up, and has explicitly promised that she “won’t screw this up.”

[ found cash wrapped in a receipt in my wallet. :) ]

Ads are unfortunately going to end up in the dashboard though. I’m fine with this as long as they’re seamlessly integrated into the design, and are interesting. Prepare yours eyes for a tidal wave of corporate .gifs . Apple could bring back their dancing silhouette ads… ? I wouldn’t mind that haha.

The team at Tumblr will continue to work independently, and no longer has to worry about barriers & nonsense.

Things will only get better here.
